2025 Year in Review

Celebrating a Year of Impact: Nonprofit Achievements in 2025

As we reflect on 2025, Small Biz Cares is proud to share the incredible impact we’ve made together. From events that brought our community together to volunteer efforts that uplifted those in need, this year was a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion. Here’s a recap of our year in numbers and stories.

Volunteerism: 150 Volunteers, 225 Hours

Our community service events brought together 150 dedicated volunteers who contributed ~225 hours to making a difference. Whether packing meals, organizing supplies, or supporting community initiatives, these efforts embodied the spirit of giving back.

Fundraising Success: 100 Participants

Through two key fundraising events, Pickleball for a Purpose and Bourbon, Brews, & Blankets we welcomed 100 participants who got together for fun, philanthropy and support of both our work and Ohio foster youth.

Programs: 150 Attendees

Our two programs brought a combined total of 150 attendees:

    • Small Business Week Celebration: This event highlighted local entrepreneurs and included a special awards ceremony where Lachandra Baker was recognized for her outstanding contributions.

    • Nonprofit Appreciation Week: A weeklong celebration highlighted by the Nonprofit Breakfast Roundtable, which brought together nonprofit leaders, business leaders, and local experts for an engaging discussion.
