Support Immigrant Families: Our Helpers Collection Drive Now Through May 8

Small Biz Cares is partnering with Our Helpers, a women-led nonprofit supporting immigrant and refugee families in Central Ohio. Through May 8, we’re collecting essential food and household items to help supply weekly emergency boxes for families facing or impacted by deportation. Your donation directly supports neighbors in need—join us in making a meaningful difference.

Items Requested:

Food:

  • Canned Soups
  • Pasta or Ramen, any kind
  • Canned tomatoes, tomato sauce or tomato paste
  • Canned beans, mixed vegetables, corn, peas
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Honey
  • Vegetable or olive oil
  • Cereal
  • Peanut Butter, Jelly
  • Snack foods (indiv. wrapped)

Household:

  • Mens or Womens Deodorant
  • Trash bags (50 or less)
  • Disposable razors and shaving cream
  • Diapers and wipes, any size
  • Toothpaste
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Cleaning supplies
