It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...
Join Us For Our Next Community Service Day July 24!
We’re excited to announce the second Small Biz Cares Community Service Day will be held Wednesday, July 24. Volunteer hours are 1:30 to 4:30 pm followed by our happy hour and networking event at Land Grant Brewing Company from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
Join us as we come together to volunteer for five local nonprofits doing important work in our community. In addition to supporting nonprofits, Community Service Day gives you the chance to connect with small business owners and other like-minded professionals.
Last month we held our first Community Service Day in Columbus. With the help of our event sponsors and supporters, we were able to support a variety of causes and raise funds for the Small Biz Cares scholarship. The first Community Service Day brought together 48 volunteers for a total of 144 volunteer hours. As a result, a lot of connections were made and a lot of good was done.
View some of the highlights from last month’s Community Service Day below.
You don’t have to be a Small Biz Cares member to participate in Community Service Day. Check out the participating nonprofits and sign up for your preferred volunteer opportunity below.
Let us know if you can make it by signing up on the Facebook event page. Special thanks to Land Grant Brewing Company for providing the space and to our returning co-hosts BLOC-O and Connected.
