Franklinton Farms’ mission is to nourish neighborhood wellbeing and connection through farming, gardening, and education.

For our project, we will be installing a hummingbird garden and signage in the Learning Garden. The Patrick Kaufman Memorial Learning Garden is a historically blighted property that Franklinton Farms began visioning the space for garden in 2015 as optimal for new community-engagement oriented garden. It is the main venue for Franklinton Farms garden education activities, therapeutic garden programs and community events.

All participants should dress for the weather and to get dirty. Closed toed shoes are required for all volunteers.
