3/17: Community Service Day with LifeCare Alliance and Home for Families

Join us as we bring together friends for volunteering and networking.

On March 17th from 2:00–4:00 PM, Small Biz Cares is excited to offer the opportunity to assist 2 Columbus nonprofits:

LifeCare Alliance, Central Ohio’s first in-home health agency, Ohio’s first agency to provide visiting nurses and the nation’s second agency to deliver Meals-on-Wheels.
Home for Families, that partners with families and youth to resolve their housing crisis, strengthen financial stability, and bridge education gaps to prevent future homelessness.

Immediately following volunteering at 1 of these locations, we invite you to meet us at Land Grant for a special St. Patrick’s Day Happy Hour!

Up to 8 Volunteers (2:00 – 4:00PM) – $10

Activities:

Portion, pack, and prep Meals-on-Wheels for delivery

Directions

Up to 6 Volunteers (2:00 – 4:00PM) – $10

Activities:

Organize the food pantry (stocking shelves, checking for expired food, etc)

Please Note: the location for this opportunity is Jefferson Apartments, where their food pantry is located. The address is 50 Jefferson Avenue, Columbus OH 43215.
