We’ve chosen the Salvation Army Christmas Cheer Program to offer a unique volunteer experience to Small Biz Cares members and friends. Connect with other small business leaders and improve employee morale by getting your office involved with our Community Service Day.
You can sign up as an individual, but we’d love to get your colleagues involved as well!
Immediately following volunteer hours, join us for our happy hour and networking event. Venue TBD. Special thanks to our co-host BLOC-O.
We need 50 volunteers to sign up before December 5th! Fill out the form below to sign up now!
Christmas Cheer Program (Distribution) – We Need 50 Volunteers
The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that continues to confront poverty in all its forms, empowering the vulnerable to find dignity and hope through changed lives. In addition, The Salvation Army plays a major role in providing disaster relief. Salvation Army staff and volunteers are often the first on the scene and the last to depart, honoring a century-old commitment to serve those in need. The red shield continues to be a beacon of compassion, immediate aid, psychological support, and spiritual counsel to individuals and families whose lives have been disrupted or shattered by forces beyond their control.
Salvation Army serves close to 6,000 families through Christmas Cheer. Volunteers are needed December 18, 2019 from 2:30PM to 5PM at the Lausche Building on the Ohio State Fairgrounds.
